Everybody is saying something different...
I went to the MTN shop in Menlyn and talked to the guy at the leaf section ... he said they arrive next week and they should becoming available in the week of the 22 november ... so ... some hope here :)
 
The rumored Samsung Google Nexus S could be a competitor to the Desire HD.

With Leaf and the service providers seemingly taking their usual sweet time, maybe it'll even be out at the same time or before the Desire HD in this country?

I have an opportunity to get the Desire HD from a friend coming down from the UK in Dec (the lucky bastard already has his) ... I'm debating whether or not it's worth it. :confused:

No Dimensions, Weight or mAh rating yet though. Oh, and what about all that shiny plastic Samsung like to use :) Could be frickin creaky like the SGS!
 
Anyone know about the HTC Droid Incredible OR the The HTC Evo 4G ?
(has HDMI port and front camera + 1500 mAh !)

Both of Those are CDMA devices (for Verizon in the states)

They will not work anywhere outside of the states as they are not GSM phones (no simcard is needed for these devices) which is why people say the DHD is the Evo 4G for the rest of the world

I was at the Grove Shopping centre today and as usual I was asking all the cell phone shops, the best result i got was Nashua Mobile showed me an email sent in the week HTC DESIRE HD release for them last week in November 2010 and as we know mtn will get it before them woooooooooo hooooooooooooo
also found out Htc has taken over leaf sa so no more funny stufffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff.:):)

Still can't join the Leaf Club as there is no DHD in the device list? (or anywhere else on their site for that matter!)
 
I went to Vodacom V&A Waterfront today and the dude said they're getting it in December.....so maybe MTN will get it a bit earlier in Movember.

The suspense is killing me. :)
 
My craving for the phone is going into over-drive ...

I can't wait to test out the 14.4Mbps wifi hotspot on this baby. Should be a blast.

As long as mine's bigger that the iPhone4. That's all that counts!

The guy from Leaf was @ MTNSP @ Pavillion today says the DHD is due last week in December. :(
