Its the same effect with the screen protector off - hence my question about anti-glare ones, it seems they reduce quality quite a bit.

They do & the reason why I don't use one.

Had one on my iPhone 3G, but I honestly couldn't see anything on the screen in direct sunlight, so took it off.

Well, you have a case for your phone, so not sure why you need a screen protector as well? The screen is quite tough and can take abuse.
 
My legacy ( :D ) Desire is almost a year old, and it still doesn't have a mark on the screen. People who can't look after expensive toys shouldn't buy them. Alternately, if they feel a compulsion, they can just courier them my way. I'll treat them right.

Mind you, it did give me a good understanding of the price you pay (and keep paying for life) when you buy into the Apple eco system.

Just so happy I could get out!! Much nicer to live free.

The Galaxy S guys have Gorilla Glass, but complains a lot about cracked screens.....????..so me thinks that it better without it....

Well i run off wi-fi both at home and at work, uncapped at home so no worries, at work don't really have the time so i keep it off unless im checking mail... and i dont wanna get bombed for abusing the net lol
 
Does anyone know where you can get a good case for the phone?

Like a capDcase or something?

Been looking everywhere with no luck.

Have you got a proper Google account setup for your phone?

I'm using my Gmail account on my Chrome browser (always logged in) and when I click on the market, I see all my installed apps right away.

*HTC Sense is still messed up, not sure when HTC plans to fix it.
