Change Port to 8080 (If already 8080 change to 9201)

Change wap version 2.0 (If already 2.0 change to 1.2)

Thank you guys for all your help and kind assistance. Much appreciated.

Thats what i told you to do here, and you said that it didnt work over here

I know Iam3g...it is very very weird....but this whole situation was weird. If you look, you will see that in your settings that you gave in the wap gateway at the end you have .013 and in the leaf settings it is just .13. maybe that made the difference?

IC...the phone works perfect now with the MMS settings that i have posted above and also the ones that Iam3g posted....but the 0 must obviously be left out before the 13 in the wap gateway.

The 0 falls away by default, wether you enter it or not. The IP address is actually 196.006.128.013 but is seen as 196.6.128.13.

So no, i doubt that made a difference.

In 99.999% of devices a leading zero will not be required nor needed. Logically it should make no difference.

However, I've seen the odd bit of kit where it was indeed needed and, just like in this case, it took days to figure it out.

But it so rare (and an obvious bug in the firmware) that I'd not even remotely thought of suggesting it.

Even when i enter it manually with the 0, and i go back to the settings, the 0 is removed.

Then I dont know....all i know is that I entered it exactly as you had it....and then i could not send nor receive...switched back to the settings from leaf, and could send but not receive....then i got new settings from Leaf...the same as from Iam3G but without the "0" and now it works 100%. Strange but true. Technology...cant live with it, cant live without it hey.

But once again guys for all your help and ideas...truely appreciated.

BUMP,

OK I have tried everything you guys suggested. Funny thing... My mms was always working, had the S710 for more than a year now and never did i have any problems.

About the same time that vodacom4me was discontinued and replaced by this new vlive thing my mms stopped working. The last mms I did actually recieve was the MMS from vodacom informing that VLive is replacing vodacom4me mobi.

No as i said i did everything, tried downloading using Vodacom MMS, MMS, and internet connection, tried all the IP's and wap types and ports as suggested and nada... niks ... pelile...

this phone is on the way out the window one of these days, I live by MMS!!! Anybody PLEASE help me...:(:(
