you right battery life is not much better...maybe just slightly more.
network registration is better - correct..thank god.i almost returned my one x cause of that issue.
will check the images thing out also

Overall it does run much faster, a big improvement is network registration it used to take at least 5 minutes before my sim would register on the netork (so if i rebooted or it crashed it would be a while before i could make or recieve calls or before i could do anything data wise if i didnt have wifi available)now its almost instantaneos.

There is no longer the mount hdd or charge only options when conecting USB really anoys me, and the thing is (and i think this is a problem on windows with mtp devices) but i cant see the thumbnail previews of photos so if i want to copy a phot i have to open it up to check its the right one.

android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly.

Getting the error popup every 1-2 minutes, about to chuck my One X out the window. Also getting this annoying popup in the notification bar that wasn't there before the update :@

this error is from the people application if i recall from xda.
there was a new update to fix it

check if you have

go to apps, all apps, fine people and try clearing data?
BUT make sure you have your contacts saved somewhere first? clearing data is going to wipe all the contacts i think

I've never experienced that
Have you disabled fast boot in power settings?
So that it shuts down properly?
With fast boot on it goes into sleep type of mode
 
Yip, never had that, and the popup you get is due to an app, I had the same issue, can't remember which app though... Sorry :eek:
 
sounds like a faulty phone, if under warrant still take it in and get it replaced as soon as u can........

What are you getting next?
 
I got the update Wednesday. It looks really pretty and feels faster and smoother than before. Sadly I can't play around with it because my phone is at Regenersis for the weekend. It was being a douche. It just went off randomly and refused to power up without being plugged into a charger for a couple of seconds (even with a full battery). The problems came before the update though.

I like the addition of settings in the notification panel (finally!)... Sense 5 is a gazillion times better looking than TouchWiz.
