Yeah I am waiting for the Diamond PRO and then going over to Virgin as well. My contract has been up since March.

I have waited since March, I suppose a few more months wont hurt. They are busy testing the PRO as we speak, with ICASA.I saw in Dions Wired they have them for 6300 (6500 with the stupid 200 starter pack) I checked at the one in woomead in jhb yesterday but they didnt have stock.

Get Leaf to change it for you. You obviously got one from the Monday morning run. The camera does work, and quite well too.Im so Pi$$ed off with this phone!!! Dan camera doesnt work!

Like Arthur said, contact Leaf. I believe Leaf is going to try and get good part of mark with the Diamond and Touch Pro and to get they need happy users. Call them.
I got mine on my Mtn contract, will mtn be responsible for changing it or can Leaf do it? If I can just take it to Leaf that would be great because Mtn can be a pain in the A$$ when it comes to buggered phones!
Yeah, the times the camera has worked, it did a pretty good Job. Was rather embarrassing on the weekend I was showing off my new phone and was asked to show the camera in action which I couldn’t lol, I was like, umm yeah sometimes it doesn’t work. lol
Just spoke to Leaf and apparently if I take it to them directly it voids my warranty with Mtn. I can see this is going to be a issue of note cause I bet they wont replace it but want to repair the dam thing.

Contact MTN and Leaf and see who can help you.
I just spoke to Mtn and they confirmed that if I take it to leaf i void my warranty with Mtn....So now I have to take it to Mtn morningside and they will send it to Leaf and they will look at it! Grrr!!!! Not a happy Mtn customer today!!!

Don't volunteer anything about ROM upgrades ... let them do the work and check it out properly.

Hey guys,
Can anyone comment on the battery life of the phone? With normal use how long can I expect to use the phone before having to plug it in.

Battery life is average - Using 3G, wifi etc will flatten it rather quickly, but if you leave those off, normal usage will get you around 1.5 - 2 days battery life. Generally you will want to charge it at the end of every day, or if you are office bound just plug it into your PC with the USB cable and it will charge. But as I said, expect to charge it every night.
