HTC Touch Diamond

Does anyone know how to get a FM Transmitter for the HTC TOUCH DIAMOND in Cape Town?

Hey all,

With the rather disappointing price of the newly released iPhone, I'm looking at getting a Diamond. Can anyone tell me where I can find a list of applications that can be used on the Diamond. The app store was a big puller for me on the iPhone.

Cheers,
Nick

Any Windows Mobile based app will run on it - look at Handango.com... then there are the warez sites.

Ok, so I've had my Diamond now for about a week and a half, and I must say I am extremely impressed and happy with it.

Having used the TyTN before made using the screen KB on the Diamond a bit awkward, but I am used to it now. Also, having flashed my TyTN a couple of times before also helps with getting the Diamond in tip-top working condition.

went and got one for my wife last friday, she is now happily using my E65 and her diamond is still in my pocket :D

I'm oh so very very tempted to go and get a Diamond, but the allure of the Touch HD on the horizon is also just too tempting....

Unable to decide....

From having a quick look at the HD, personally, I would take the diamond. The little touch/scroll pad at the bottom of the Diamond is still a must for me ... using the arrow keys to navigate comes in handy sometimes

Weren't you supposed to give her the diamond BEFORE she became your wife? :p

If the diamond had an SD card slot, there'd be one on my desk now...

I would really prefer to have one on my phone considering my last two had one and it's a serious convenience....

the problem being i am not one of those that can afford to spend R7k on a phone twice.... so need to make sure i get the right one with all the features i want 1st time round

I hear you ... luckily mine was "for free" sort of ... but still consider the Touch Pro ... IMHO a better buy than the HD

I re-read the review of the Touch Pro and went over the details of the Touch HD...

definitely a tough choice to make.... will maybe wait and see once there are more previews / reviews of the HD available... but at the moment, leaning in the direction of the Pro... that keyboard could be useful...

altho... how is mxit going to look when rotated the other way... anyone tried it yet?

Yeah same here... this is definitely going to put a dent into boredom in arb places... you can whip out your phone and carry on watching your fav series / movie....

But again, Pro or HD... at the moment I'm sitting on the fence....

I like the Pro and the HD, the Pro for the flash on the camera, and the HD for pretty much everything else... especially the rumour that the HD will have swype...
