Does anyone know where I can buy a second charger and cable for my Touch Diamond? I want one to permanently leave hooked up to my office PC.

If you want it permanently connected to the PC, all you need is a regular USB-to-miniUSB cable for around R50. I keep half a dozen of them at various places, including the office.
You can buy a 220VAC-to-USB (5V DC) unit at many electronics shops for under R100.

Has anyone managed to download the latest ROM. I've tried, but the only version available for my phone (according to my s/n) is 1.97. :(
 
i wouldn't go for the diamond touch. from reviews i have read and the youtube video's this phone seems to suffer from terrible lag issues, even after tweaking or loading a custom faster rom from xda it still lags :(

I'd rather go for omnia or the I780....

Umm the first batches of the TD were slow and laggy....They very quickly sorted them out. It is a fantastic phone.

Have you put on your screen protector (you get 2 with your handset package) as the screen scratches easily.

If you're looking for pouches, Vodacom stocks a few types (most with belt clips/straps).

Ya I put that on but I want to protect the back as well.

Anyone have a link to the HTC latest official rom?
 
Sometimes when I press the home key, the dialer comes up and then when I press it again it starts calling. This is so annoying can someone help me?
