HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

Almost every single day I must look at the ads on the TV of the HTC TyTN and HTC Mteor that's available at "your nearest Vodashop".

What is the problem? Why can they have it but MTN not? MTN is always "first with everything" or what do I say?

I think MTNDD is away today so hopefully by tomorrow we will have an answer as to pricing and availability.

If it ends up taking longer than that, then we have in all likelihood crossed the realm in to shoddy, poor service and poor customer relations. I rest. :(

Check ww.nashuamobile.com for quotes on the HTCTyTn for various packages. R3182 on Procall 120 package. Best to call Nashua to see if the phone is avalibale on MTN

R3000+ on Procall 120
Ridiculous I'm telling you
I'll never pay that

That is a good price compaired to vodacoms Talk240.
On the MTN Procall 120 you have to pay-up R3182.30 at R313.50 pm.
On the Vodacom Talk 240 you have to pay-up R4387.75 at R458.50 pm.

Now, those two contracts are diffrent. But the MTN Procall 120 is ceaper than the Talk 240. How can the Talk 240 be so much more expensive on the once-off than the MTN one?!?! I smell rippoff.

Hi MTNDD

Now if we only knew what MTN's promo was going to look like...

Is anybody in Midrand even taking notice of MTNDD's plea for some information for us?

Nope I haven't heard nothing -

MTNDD runs off into the distance

The thing I don't understand is that Nashua Mobile have the TyTN on the MTN Pricelist but MTNSP doesn't have it yet. How is that?

I would've thought that MTNSP would get it first or maybe the same time.

Sounds logical to me Piesang.

The only thing that seems clear at the moment is that Midrand is doing their very best to undo so much of the good work that MTNDD does on this forum by their inept ability to get an answer to people looking forward to staying with MTN and upgrading their phones. Chaos follows when your right hand doesn't know what your left is doing.

Just got a call from my SP now saying TYTN is available on MTN and delivery is  imminent and they are sending me the upgrade forms today. Upgrade on Procall 600 = R2200!!!

Unfortunately Nashua Mobile is notoriously expensive when it comes to higher end phones. I remember when the K-Jam first came out, It was 1500 bucks on a procall 300 at nashuamobile, and free from MTNSP. Maybe they source their phones from somwhere else.

Hopefully MTN SP will be much more reasonable. I mean, a new JasJam is only 2 grand more than a K-Jam, and they promo those for free on a procall 120. So how does that work?

C'mon MTN, show us what you're made of, and get it to us this century please.

This century? They call guys like you an optimist :D

A mate of mine has just gone in to i-Talk and they have quoted him R2000 to upgrade to the Jasjam on Procall 120. No stock yet though.

hahahahaaaaaaaaa ..... How many times have i heard that before ... I can give it to you for this price but i dont have stock right now ...

Just ordered the TYTN on Procall 600 from Supercall and I had to pay in R999. They only had 7 left but it's still at their warehouse so they must've just received stock.
