i got a iMate Jas Jam on Friday from MTN SP in Morningside Jhb on Friday. Paid in R 2699 less a rebate from retentions department.

Is that keyboard as nifty as it looks? The pictures look really cool.
The keyboard is great. At first I struggled to dial with one hand but on further investigation found many ways shorcuts to numbers and have set up a comprehensive speed dial. It took me awhile to find the right modem script to link with my apple but thats all sorted now....
It really is a mini computer...not sure yet how to get push mail, and the connection speed is not that fast, but will carry on experimenting...

For push mail you need an Exchange server .. Check out www.markspace.com these guys have an application that will allow you to sync with your MAC

Afristar I just phoned MTN Morningside on 011 808 9000 (be prepared to wait up to 5 min for them to answer), spoke to Lee Pendleburry, who says "We definitely don't have the TYTN, nor did we have it on Friday"
That leaves me to conclude Afristar - that you are imagining/pretending that you have the TYTN. Either way its very cruel.

Afristar said he purchased an i-mate Jasjam (not the HTC TyTn) which is in essence the same phone, but branded by i-mate and not HTC.
My MTN SP has neither at the moment. Give morningside a ring and ask if they have the i-mate Jasjam.
