HtF do I sync' my Nokia with Thunderbird?

Hi all,

I've got a Nokia phone (approx. 2 years old) and have made the move to Thunderbird.

The old NokSync addon is now defunct.

All I keep finding on Google is this Nokia Ovi crap.

I don't want Nokia having all of my details online and I don't want connectivity to their Ovi BS.

I just want my contacts in sync'.

Is there any easy way of doing this?

The only way to do it, and is how I did it on my old N82.

Get the mod that allows Thunderbird to sync to GMAIL (calender at least works for me, but contacts aparently works too), then set up mailforexchange to sync with gmail.

Thanks for the suggestion.

It unfortunately involves a third party again though. :/

In the world of social networking and big business I really do have to wonder...is anything private anymore? :/
