Those reviewers should add the faults and issues to their reviews, or post caveats to any future posts.

They shouldn’t try and continue covering up by posting nonsense advertorials because they’re scared to lose their free perks.
 
Dave, let's go slowly and see why people say what they do. I know you disagree - but maybe it'll help you understand :

The camera is better than the other flagships
The battery outlasts the other flagships
The wireless charging is faster than the other flagships (twice as fast as an iPhone actually)
The wired charging is faster than the other flagships
The LTE modem achieves higher than any other flagship

Now what people tend to do, is put these all together ... and that's when they determine is something is better than something else.

Those reviewers (the world over) mention their experience with the products ... their hands on. That's how it has worked since the dawn of time :/ It works like that with any product as well.

But you have the power to change it, because I see you feel very strongly ...

No fanboy, all I’m saying is it isn’t majorly advanced compared to ANY of the top phones and is in fact worse than some of the top competitors in certain cases.

If I was trying to emulate the fanboy method I’d be pushing that product X does certain things better. I’m not pushing any other phone, just saying the Mate 20 is not perfect, is worse in certain instances and no where near the best product at taking photos/videos.

And the cheats and shills pretend that the product they’re pushing has zero wrong and it’s absolutely the best product in the world, no matter if faults ever become apparent.

I just don't understand what happens to my reviews or thoughts.
Do they change now ? Do they change when money is handed over?
Do they stay the same as what I experienced?

PS I explained the benchmark story. Surely not that complex to understand how products compare themselves with benchmark products, right?

For a lot of shills they do, positive reviews and excessive defensiveness are well paid for, only you can understand your thoughts, if you don’t perhaps you should see a psychiatrist.

I've got a fairly decent reputation here and elsewhere. I don't expect you to understand my values or ethics - but mine are fairly high and I'm not going to throw it all away by 'lying' about a mobile phone. By the same token, you can't expect me or anyone else to claim we have issues when we don't? I mean that's pretty damn unrealistic.

But - yhy don't you take me up on my offer of offering your phone, and we can snap a few photos to compare together objectively?
We can put everything on MyBB behind us and let's go see what both phones really can and can't do?
I've tested dead on objectively and stated where I felt the Mate20Pro wasn't great - and I've provided photos.

Here's your Olive branch ... let's catch a drink, bring your iPhone and let's take photos
 
Mate 20 Pro vs. Mate 20 X - have to say, would have been great if the X came down here, reminds me of the Dell Streak that pushed us to 5inch Displays and the Galaxy Note that had us push past 5inch

None of the comments were actually aimed at you, but at the “Destroyed” advertorial and other users strident promotion at all costs posts in the thread, looking at tespz here.

You were the one who’s guilty conscience made you jump in.

So you're not accepting my offer to go out and take a few test photos?
We may have more in common than you think actually?

Think how objective it'll be and we won't need to reply on other reviews on the camera performs - we can make our own.

Who or what standards organisation declared the iPhone as the benchmark?

That would seem like a weird choice as there are many features where other phones are superior.

Are you sure that isn’t just something you made up after becoming obsessed with it?
