Huawei P6

Played with the demo today (white) and it's a gorgeous phone. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that headphone jack is on the left of the phone.

Where'd you find a demo unit? I've been to quite a few stores and none of them have yet.
 
The speed of the P6 seems to be between a S2 and a S3. I found a German site that compared the B107 with the B111 firmware and there's a bit of speed improvement. Quadrant improved to from 4000+- to 5229 and An Tu Tu(3.2) from 13500 +- to 14000 . So I wonder what the B113 will do? I know no one is interested in the Acer but my E2 gets Quadrant 4053 and An Tu Tu(4.01) 13800 and that at nearly half the price.

B114 leak is already out ....so looks like they will jump from B111 to B114? Current firmware on Huawei site is B111 and I upgraded mine a day or two ago.
 
Played with this phone yesterday. Huawei has a stand in the Kollonade mall. Fell in love with it..My wife is due for an upgrade and was looking at the S3 but this phone just pretty much sold itself.

I see MTN has the phone for R199pm with 150mb data and free case.
 
I am a little disappointed with the camera's software.
my old P1, had burst mode, and funny settings like wide smiles, big brain....i wonder why they took those options off.

Perhaps install another camera app?
 
Got the P6 for my wifey last week. She loves it and I am duly impressed. The jetski game it comes with pre-loaded is pretty cool too. Along with the cover.
 
So I got this phone for my mother. Set it up. I am hugely impressed. Quality phone. Feels really solid with the unibody and metal, rounded edges, etc although I prefer the lighter S2 in terms of weight (plastic materials).

I was doubting if I should get the phone for my mother after reading the reviews which said the Emotion UI is so different but it's really not that different. If you've used any custom launcher, you'll be used to slight changes. Wife likes it too. She's considering getting it too.
 
Huawei will be doing promos at Centre Court in Cresta Shopping Centre and at Gateway Shopping Centre this weekend.
 
It runs on Android 4.2.2 have 2Gb ram and quad core to process..... I can see no reason why a android program will not run on it.
 
Has anyone been able to find cases, screen protectors or flip covers for the P6 in local stores?
