Hubble Batteries

I know this is an old thread but the Hubble Cloudlink product is still not working (End of March 2023). And Hubble cant give an estimate of when their developers will have the issues fixed and get it working again.

Expensive piece of plastic.

That said, the AM-5 series batteries perform well. And it has unlimited cycles just like the SunSynk batteries do.
The AM5 only has a 2 year warranty on the BMS, which is not the best

Good Day. Is there still issues with the Hubble AM-2 batteries? Thinking of going with a installer who is Sunsynk authorised but only installs sunsynk with Hubble am-2 and no other batteries

Not sure but it's best to believe there is until there isnt

Any reason why that specific installer? There are lot of other reliable battery brands where you don't have to worry

So far my second AM2 is working just as well as the first one. Don't have a RIOT or anything else so unsure how different the firmwares could be. The only thing I am pissed off with is that the new battery has slightly less capacity that the old one.

110Ah on original and 100Ah on the new one.

Get the AM5 if you can. Seems to be better based on what I read

Decided to go solar.

Go many quotes but narrowed down to only two based on feedback from friends and pricing to SECS and CSP. Now in the process of checking their authorisation from sunsynk.

CSP is authorised and only does Hublle and Sunsynk as they say its the beat combination and they do not install anything else.

Waiting for the SECS on their authorisation details from Sunsynk.

LFP is a better option for home use compared to NMC (used in AM2) where space (and therefore energy density) is not a restriction. LTO unfortunately is still very expensive

Well now have to send my other Hubble battery in SOH 50%, Hubble is just absolute garbage quality.

Will check with them if they will do AM5. Again as someone said what is the point if BMS comes with 2 year warranty and they give you unlimited cycles. So confusing

Thank you

Been there done that. Mine are working fine now. Luck of the draw.

Above is for all hubble batteries looks like. Checked for AM2 and AM5 and above wording is the same

Agh, wish I saw this thread before buying last year smh...
Anyone aware of issues with the S100A 100ah?
Now I'm going to be paranoid.

I’m also having weird Hubble AM2 issues. I don’t know who to ask to fix it.
Before buying poison also we must come and check with the experts here. Sad to know about your situation

Im aware there are issues. Although I did have issues early last year my battery was sent in replaced within the week and my set of 4 are running perfectly.

That said I do NOT recommend hubble anymore as I cannot with a clear conscience recommend them as I know there are "issues" even though I am not suffering from them others are.

My installer likes the AM2 and keeps some stock of it. He was willing to swop out for other brands, but then I'd have had to wait even longer and I was gatvol to say the least.

He said if the batteries gives any issues he'll swop them out if I take the AM2s.

So then it came down to timing and support. I would have preferred Sunsynk batteries, but if anything were to go wrong, Im screwed.

So far the batteries seem to perform as expected, but it's only been two weeks.

One thing I noticed is the new AM2s seem to be rated at 6 KW but the BMS only allows 100Ah rather than the 125Ah that's displayed on the side of the battery.

Im happy with my 4xAM2

No idea where you see 6kw mine are 5.5

Even the site is 5.5
