hundred pushups program

Did Day 1 today. 3rd Column week 3. Think I'll drop to the 2nd Column. Could do the four sets easy enough. When it came to the one were you do as many as you can, I couldn't do more :(

Just came back from doing some interval runs and did the initial test.

I managed 20 pushups so will be starting week 1 column 3.

Side note: Love my vibrams :D

tx. need the motivation :)

cool stuff, keep us updated ;)

I really struggled through day2 of week 3, feels like my arms are going to explode, in the last set I just couldn't, seems I may well have to redo this week once finished, even though was disheartened still feel great after the mini workout :D

Whew...

So I have just done week 3, column 3 but holy crap it was hard! :o

It says for your last set your "max" must be a minimum of 20, well I only just barely managed to do the 20 pushups... :erm:

But yeah, its a start :)

yeah really struggle with the last step, but should push through it when I do the week over which will give me the motivation to do the following week :D

I've been keeping track of all the pushups i've done in a spreadsheet.....

I'm currently doing week 5 for the third time (the first time I couldn't do all the required pushups - the second time I managed - then on my test - I didn't graduate to week 6 - but got graduated to week 5 collumn 2.

To date - I have done 1791 pushups, over a period of 8 weeks (well will be 8 weeks if you include tomorrows pushups - and 1966 total if I manage to do all the required pushups)

I recommend to everyone to keep a log like this - it really helps motivation when you see the amount of pushups you have to do and your arms are crying in pain...

Haha, I can see myself doing week three for a few weeks :)

yeah I can see myself doing it 2 - 3 times

holy carp that is a butt load of push ups

Guys remember to stretch after your workout. Not only does it help get rid of some of the pain, it also encourages muscle growth

At least there are other people here to cheer me along. Will get started with week 1.

Even my abs are sore today :o

Good advice, I forgot to stretch yesterday and can feel it today.

YUUUU KAAAAN DOOOOOO EEEEEEET! :D

Well I didn't exactly follow the routine but I guess doing more doesn't hurt.
Did 50 in the morning. 48 later in the afternoon.
Evening I managed 30, then after a few minutes 20.
Also lifted my weights that have 23KGs on them, just did one set 10 times.

Was doing as much as I could handle each time. Today my shoulders hurt so it must have given me a good workout.
I didn't stretch, maybe that would have helped. Too late now?

Is there a site with good info on weight lifting techniques? Preferably with pictures. Don't think I'm making the most of my weights...
