hundred pushups program

I didn't get around to doing day 2 this weekend, so I will attempt when I get home :o

Hey guys :D I'm doing the Android app push up challenge as well. Did 30 in my initial test and for my next push up day I have to do 80 in total. Not sure how the android app compares to this 100 push up challenge :/ Do I have to take break days, I don't see the point?

Going to start tonight, got 22 on the initial test so Week 3..here I come :D

Week 5 Day 1 - column 2 - doing week 5 for the 4th time now :/ -

Managed each of the sets, but came short on the last - had to do 35 - only managed 29 - still a total of 139 pushups over the 5 sets is not bad at all.....

How is everyone doing with theirs?

Do you only do it over the week or continue over the weekend?
 
I do day 1 on a monday, day 2 on a wednesday, and day 3 on a friday.

It seems to be the best way to get the required rest days in.... (then I do exhuastion tests if required on the saturday).

I've now been on the program for a total of 8 weeks (starting to do week 9 now) and have done 2053 pushups so far :D

I've got a lovely spreadsheet thingy - if anyone wants it to track and count - I don't like using the Iphone app as you can't manipulate the data..

Havent read your other posts but do you go to gym in addition? Can you see any visible difference in physic after 8 weeks?

I go to gym 5 days a week, do 35 minutes of cardio - then I do some light weight training - going to start a heavier weight routine once I manage the 100...


What I can say is my arms and shoulders and pecs have slowly but certainly been gaining a lot of definition and every week - i'm amazed at the difference in appearance -

Nice, good to see you pushed past the minimum, in the last set it is killer so great to give the extra push :D

You gonna be sore tomorrow, take rest days, drink plenty water :)

I just finished week 3, day 2.... And it was about as hard as day 1, which is good because I actually was able to do it :)
