hundred pushups program

So after nearly dying doing Week 4, day 2, column 3... I thought why not look at the other sites that onehundrenpushups links to.

Now there's a great way to use those days in between pushups. You can do pushups one day, situps on the other.
Maybe even add in squats to exercise your legs. I'm sure doing up to three of those programs simultaneously is possible for those of us crazy enough.

There's others like pullups but those exercise mostly the same muscles so probably aren't suitable to do at the same time.

Come on, we can't stop with pushups :D

Yeah I am thinking about adding the 200 sit ups in on the rest days as well :D
 
D3x I clean forgot to keep track and do it this week - work etc. I'm restarting week 1 next week and then will be more strict updating my progress.

This isn't the first time i've done this program. I got to week 5 a while back, got bronchitis then promptly never carried on. My aim is to finish this time as I know this program works well.

Will update more regularly.

I think I'll try the situps and squats. I need the squats, my leg strength has never been any good. Did the initial tests for both today.
Squats: 30
Situps: 43.
I'll give it two days rest though so I do the squats and situps on the days between my pushups.

Think I'll do the squats and sit-ups too. That'd be awesome.

Just finished week 4, 130 pushups total, that last set was quite something XD

Anyone get lower back pain after a few days on the program? I'm on week 2 - 82 pushups in last session.

I'm wondering if it's the pushups or the travel I've been doing. I don't usually get back pain from planes and hotel beds.

Your back should be as straight as possible when doing the pushups, so you shouldn't be getting lower back pain from that afaik...
 
It also took me two days to recover after the first day. Stretching is supposed to help.

Haha I was the same, good to see it's meant to be that sore.

Just finished week 1 though, it can be pretty tough by the last rep when you're meant to max yourself. Looking forward to week 2, it's pretty fun.. like a real life RPG.

No back pain for me, perhaps your form?
 
Finished day 3 column 2 week 5 - going to have to repeat this week - but OW - 160 pushups is a lot in one evening :)

Weekends pwn me everytime, cause I drink too much most likely. So whatever day I was on before the weekend, I end up repeating. Curse you vodka+lemonade!
 
I've started. But starting slower and on a lower week than I should. I am using this guide with regards to pull ups and dips as well. Well, all other exercises I'm doing.. So far.. So stiff..
