hundred pushups program

Just tried my exhaustion test after week 4.
My initial test was 48. Now I managed 46. Fail :(

Will try again. Probably too soon after I've eaten, tiredness or whatever.

ok, I must seriously be the most out of shape person on mybb, but not sure how going to do day 2 when arms feel like they have been put through a paper shredder.

anyhow tried this afternoon to do day 2 but was impossible, just too damn painful, so being naughty and taken anti inflammatory and will try again as soon as it kicks in.

It gets better, you just need to hang in there, remember to stretch and drink plenty water
 
Finished week 2 today.

Starting week 3 on Monday.

I never used to warm up before going on a run and now with this cold weather these push-ups are an excellent way to warm up before going outside.
 
I did another exhaustion test today... managed 46.... it's taken many weeks, but when I started I could only do 11....

Hope it doesn't take forever to hit the 100..

I've been a bit behind this week. Life has been happening.
 
I'm starting this next week Monday...initial test has me at only 16! Man, I was unpleasantly surprised! I do a lot of cardio training, but I have the upper body strength of a bowl of jello.

I've been missing out on my days, gotta really push it tomorrow and get back into gear. >.< Gonna throw in some dumbbell curls too.

Has anyone mannaged to complete the 100 Push ups yet ? Also what results are you haveing on your body.

no one here that I am aware of, xrapid was pretty close if I recall but he has been gyming for a while, I have not as yet noticed any physical results but it makes me feel good, have taken measurements so after time can see results, however I need to change my eating habits.

I only just started, but I can see the benefits already. Triceps and Pecs are more defined, I feel stronger and fitter :)
 
week 1 finished

well week 1 AKA day3 finished - today was a lot easier than day 2.
on the final round of 10 or more, managed 18, which is ok cause my initial test was 8.
could of done more but had lower back pain so stopped.
sad thing is at the moment I'm probably pushing up more weight (not saying how much yet, its tooo much) than anyone else trying this, but trying to combine this with a healthy lifestyle and walking so will see if there are any results (re the weight) towards week 4.

I started at 11 - initial exhaustion test.

Then i've done.

Week 1 = 104 pushups.
Week 2 = 161pushups.
Test = 20 pushups.
Week 3 = 152 pushups.
Week 4 = 215 pushups.
Test = 28 pushups.
Week 4 = 222 pushups.
Test = 31 pushups.
Week 5 = 262 pushups.
Week 5 = 309 pushups.
Test = 39 Pushups
Week 5 = 363 pushups.
Week 5 = 431 pushups.

I took a week break.

Test = 46 pushups.
TOTAL pushups to date = 2391.
Doing week 5 for the 5th time this week.
