Our local girls around here are very shallow...most of them just chase after money, cars and status. Lots of them only care about themselves and although they're hot...they don't really come across as good gf/wife material.

I feel kind of sorry for the OP. It comes down to liking yourself. If woman don't like you I can pretty much guarantee you have self-esteem issues. They can pick up on it from a mile away and it creeps them out. Contrary to what that chick said earlier woman do like a guy with the confidence to approach them in a bar or club (sorry sweety, you may not but a lot of quality woman do). Of course just because you have the guts to approach woman doesnt mean youre not a tool.
My advice to the OP is to forget about woman for a while and get to like yourself more. You deserve it just by virtue of being human. Get yourself a hobby. Set yourself some goals. Widen your social circle. Just forget about getting girls to like you and treat them as though they were just some dude you know or just met.

It is a good start to have the basics in place.
If there are physical problems, like hygiene, tourettes or any other dificulty that might impact his chances, they will still impact his chances no matter how much self-confidence he has.
