I also just got the Omnia from MTN at the new Westwood Mall in Westville in Durban.
How did you find the service at MTN Westwood? I went there yesterday and was dissapointed. I am due for an upgrade shortly and asked them to check the specific date. They told me I can go shop and they'll call me. 3 hours later they still didn't call - so I went back. They told me that oh, i can upgrade "sometime" in October. I called MTN myself this morning and can upgrade 3 October. Also, they could not explain to me why I can take the Nokia N82 on Anytime 200, but not on the Off Peak 200 - I mean, it's the same price I'm paying? Just that I get to use the time after hours?
Very good and quick, I was there at 2pm yesterday to upgrade and walked out with the new phone at 2:30pm.
@bar1, @Killer
How snappy is the interface? The other question.....is this an iPhone killer?
Main criticism of the phone:
The stylus is not practical in anyway...
1) Its width/bulkiness
2) It being external to the phone
[-] 3) Couldnt work out how to attach it to the phone with the string![]()

Lol... just saw now that its a lid that comes off.. i was using the thick end.. not the point
Otherwise is cool![]()
Well I have been using the HTC Tytn for the past 6 months and the Omnia is the same size in length and width but half the high.
I also don't like the stylus being bulky and separate but don't think I will use the stylus much once I have customized my settings etc.
hey is it possible to multi-task on the omnia?
I heard the stylus is just an after thought...the phone was suppose
to be finger use only, like the iphone.
yes....does anyone know what the shortcut is to the task manager?
I accidentally used it once...![]()
