those images of the interface look very good.. how about some snapshots of the phone when viewing video etc? i'd lto see some more detail on the colour rendering..

According to vodashop guys from the 2nd oct they will announce all the new packages including some omnia deals
 
So, any announcements yet from vodacom? Why are they so behind.. How come MTN is ahead of them with the release? How much different are there testing process? Or are they trying to brand the phone so bad that it messes up the firmware allot?!?! RELEASE it already!!! PLEASE! hehehe
 
i think it may be because of too many choices during the time of the iphone release, forcing you into going with the iphone.
 
I think Vodacom is holding back the Omnia in order to focus on their iPhone deal. If the Omnia is released no-one will even consider the iPhone and vodacom apparently have exclusive rights to the iPhone. I hope they realise that this might cause many people to move to MTN, a move I will make if vodacom don't have the Omnia by the weekend.
 
mmnn lol.. IPhone has too many restrictions. And i think vodacom is just gone brand the crap out of the Omnia, thats why when i get it, FLASH and no more branding.. hehe yeay!!

FD, i agree.. vodacom is gona lose allot of subscribers because of that.. They are idiots! hahah IPhone is just allot of hot air..

Im also considering the move to mtn if they keep if of the shelf's any longer. But first i will go to every vodacom shop and slap the mtn specials page in there face and spam vodacom support mailbox with emails of the mtn specials! hehehe :D *oops did i say that out loud* :D

Just called Samsung at Vodaworld, they recieved stock today (Only do cash deals). The guy told me that Vodashop at Vodaworld also recieved their stock today. Will go check it out as soon as I can get away from the office.

Okay so if vodashop and vodaworld receive there stock today will we have sales by tomorrow? Or can i go and get my upgrade today.. Please understand, IM BURNING FOR MY UPGRADE!! :D

Phoned vodashop at vodaworld, this special is true, only for new contracts though, so I cannot upgrade.
What I will do though, is take a new contract and then downgrade my existing contract to something dirt cheap.

Can anyone confirm when people with contracts can go and do an upgrade?!?! Anyone.. People at the vodashops are useless, "sorry sir, that phone will only be available mid october or start of next month.." WHAT?!@@#$$%
 
I've not had a contract since 2004, just been on a month to month option... Sold my soul to the MTN yesterday.... now just waiting for it to arrive.

Hope it is worth it.

It's so ironic... these are Vodaworld's 10th Birthday Specials whoop whoop, one would think those vodacon customers who have been around for those TEN years would also be able to "join in the celebrations" by being able to qualify to upgrade on these specials....
...nope, they're only out to catch new fish...sigh
 
Upgrade on a Talk130 the pay in is R2999.00
I just got a new Talk130 contract with a free omnia. I downgraded my existing talk130 to a topup75 so I can keep my old number and gradually move to the new number.
