I lost some phone numbers on Android

Last week I realize someone I phone regularly, number is not on my phone anymore. I though that maybe I deleted it by accident. Then I found a second number missing, and now I have found 4 numbers gone, out of nearly 300. the samsung S4 get regular updates automatically, what could happen to the numbers.
 
They went missing.

Always save numbers to your Google account. Then when it syncs aft r updates and the like, they come back. Don't store numbers only on phone memory
 
I also lost some, very weird

Forced a re-sync of the Google Account and problem solved.

Wonder if Google had a syncing issue?

They took your phone when you weren't looking and removed their numbers because they're tired of you calling them.
 
I have the same problem on my LG5 since last week a few numbers has disappeared.
 
Someone 1 know has the exact same issue. This is a bit concerning.

His numbers were removed from device, not from google account
 
Something similar once happened to me. Wish I had known about the undo changes
