I need a heater

Gas isn't cheaper than electricity, in fact it's probably more expensive.
I keep gas as a backup, and the oil fin heater as the go to. Oil Fin takes the edge off. Wine helps as well.

Just ease of use.

Apparently a Halogen heater is even better.

Even more efficient.

But yeah, don't want to set fire to a place.

Cut out switches when it falls over probably.

Anything IR will work quickly.
It has that, switch underneath if it falls over. Its like IR, it works outside even in the wind.

Its R200.

You feel warm immediately where oil heater you feel warm next tues.

You'll thank me later.

I almost bought this but opted for a bigger version. It also has that safety switch underneath. Best money I've spent lately. Just ordered a second one

3 bars uses under 1200W. 1 bar is enough for my home office.

A watt is a watt. 800W is enough for me, but maybe one needs more.

Runs rings around 2000W oil heaters hey?

How much is the kak oil heater anyway that takes 3 hours (@ 2000W continuous) to warm up?

Don't get me wrong.

I was brought up on oil heaters. Used them my whole life.

Then when I heard about IR and could relate from "feeling" it outdoors at restaurants and stuff. A fire place is IR.

What I learned that quartz or any shitty heater with the glowing bar and shiny background is an IR heater, and bobs your uncle, the R200 one I bought to test worked on the verandah and through the glass of the french doors.

It was one of those moments when you kick yourself as a 48 year old when you discover a better way that what you've been surviving on your whole life and that you didn't discover this sorcery sooner.

It didn't hurt as bad as me not buying useless bitcoin on luno when it was worth nothing.

Hypothetically, I could be have been Elon rich, like super yacht with helipad and helicopter rich, like enough money to save this country, like pulling a couple of bar doing fokkal just from the interest per month.

We got one of those quartz/halogen or whatever it is, its kinda kak, you need to have it right in front of you to feel it but doing so is like you got a knob on the road with his high beams on in your face.

Would prefer the ones that glow a dim red and you can feel it.

How many watts? Try the 2000W one.

Yes, it is a light source but that doesn't bother me when I've had three tequilas or even when I'm sober, maybe its because I only use it on special occasions in durban.

Still better than that oil fin crap.
