 Hi all well I have a problem here I passed my matric with higher certificate but now I am not satisfied with my results so I want to do a bcom computer science and information systems at any university but I don't meet their requirements to study so I have decided to rewrite my matric this year but I only realised now that I won't be ready to write this december. So My question is How many times can i rewrite my matric?:erm: Any advice would be welcome thanks:)

Same here .Doing Bringing course with Unisa.starting next month so far.

Firstly - never give up hope. There are university/UNISA short courses that you can do that will allow you to study towards a degree once you complete it.

Secondly - English is a beautiful language. Respect it by appropriately using full stops, paragraphs and spaces :)

Why don't you speak to a university that you are interested in about a bridging course to be able to do the degree you would like. There's no harm in asking, and if you're successful then that would mean you won't have to rewrite your matric. I'd assume you would only have to do a short maths course (I'm guessing your maths wasn't good enough) or something like that

Lol Thanks Shaun It was at late and I was sleepy. Well I recieved an email from the Department of Education they said, as many times as I want so I guess I will do it next year then. I am not in a hurry. :)

Well I didn't know about that then but now I do.
Will try and visit unisa for some info. Thanks :)

Unisa and many institutes offer bridging courses.
I never did science before applying to study Mech Eng at unisa so I had to complete a simple bridging course.
It really was simple.

I guess I need to make some time and go pay them a visit this friday. How many months did it take to complete your bridging course?

I think it was around 4 or so but that was entirely dependent on the actual exam date.
I could have completed it in the first study week if there was an exam.

Port Elizabeth

And no, I'm not that quick it's just that I really didn't need the bridging course.
I just never studied Science.
The bridging course was some chemistry & physics which I didn't really have a problem with at 1st year level.
