Well look - knowing mweb, theyre probably buying off both Sentech and WBS - that way they can have true monopoly.

Simple one sentance arguement that I think you can all see alot of **** if this is true.

er... dude, that happened after I posted this comment... and after Shaun Green phoned me on my cellular phone. (his wife was ***king him out in the background because they're on their way out)

or maybe you didn't speak to him at all.......I spoke to Shaun earlier, he has no knowledge of the info you are sharing on this thread about WBS. You must have had a bad dream????

Dude, the sooner you realise that even WBS employees uses ADSL instead of their own product, the sooner you will realise that this is true!

He phoned me afterwards to k@k me out because I posted this!

iBurst management and support sucks. Hopefully MWEB will take them over.

Well if Mweb or anyone else buys WBS I hope they fix the core network services (auth, bw mgmt, web proxies & upstream bw) & customer support/call centers.

Fundimentally I think the iBurst technology (Arraycom/Kyocera) is solid & works well. Just been stained by a less then slick implementation.

Whatever, Regardless of whether Mweb buys iBurst or not. iBurst will still suck.

Is there anything that ties ADSL to copper / fibre? They effectively do it already with iBurst...

apparently iBurst also plans to release their own last-mile ADSL offering...
LOL, now you're pushing the boundaries of fiction there :D - considering that WBS also want to do their own VoIP as well...PMSL

Thats a rather unprofessional blanket statement from a supposedly unbiased moderator of this forum. I see you've been 'floeking' hard in other posts as well.

I'm certainly no supporter of WBS, their ability to run a stable efficient network is dodgy at best & their customer care is pathetic. However degenerating this forum into a whining platform achieves nothing. You may as well change its name in the future from iBurst General to iBurst Bitch Club.

To my knowledge this is the only active forum for the iBurst user community to share info, experiences, solutions and yes gripes. Its also apparent that its monitored by IT journalists to get a feel for the user experience etc.

However the more it degenerates into a bitch club the less anyone (e.g. users, press, companies invloved etc.) is going to take it serious or care what is said in it!

Well said Roman4604

The problems are NOT with iBurst it is WBS that is pulling the iBurst system through the dirt.
