Well anything on the local South African price fixing cartel would be excluded. So the only stuff is the universities, media24, dstv, and some stuff off Neotel (some local za companies).

The only way to break the za cartel is to do an Egypt.

currently you need to have 2 acounts , that means paying R300 bucks for 2 1 gig packages as aposed to just under R200 for a normal 2 gig or R400 for 2 2 gig packages as aposed to just R445 for 1 5 gig and so on and so forth

+1 for trading in old modem for new 2Mbit modem.
 
AFAIK, there is no 2mbps modem in SA. The only option you have is to load balance with 2x 1mbps modems... :confused:
 
Not from what I understand. Yes, you need a 2nd modem, but you can pit that up for cheapish and then the WAN Router, which I saw for about R450. Other than that, I don't know of any other costs...

Why doesn't iBurst run a competition for myBB members to win a 2 Mbps modem?

If Cell C can give modems to myBB members on launch day, surely iBurst can spare a modem or two...
