iBurst uncapped broadband service launched; boosts data bundle sizes

I had to check the date to make sure it wasn't April 1st. What a joke.

Is that their idea of a big new product launch?

Those uncapped accounts are pathetic at best...

Seems quite decent to me? 10GB for R198?? Uncapped on a wireless offering?

What am I missing? Compared to ADSL costs (incl. voice line rental), this is very cheap.

Capped products looking very good I'm impressed. The uncapped standard should have been made 30gigs FUP a month then afta 256kbps not 1gig per day but with all that said well done iBurst.

Very impressed.. so im going to get 10Gig for R198 /month..plus "night surfing free".... Does Iburst take trade-ins on the old 1Mb modem?

If you don't see these new prices as cheap and competitive kindly list your reasons maybe you know something I don't. Keep in mind this is wireless

I actually think it makes sense the way it is. Otherwise their network will be dead the last few days of the month, with everyone trying to finish their caps, and utilise the FUP to its maximum.

yeah some people on these forums use no thought what so ever. just posting anything that's a move in the positive direction.

The company increased the data allowance on their standard data package sizes
Any idea whether this will affect current packages? The prices certainly look the same...

Tired of these telco's and ISP's flogging 30-90GB per month packages as "uncapped". The ASA really needs to do something about it.
