iBurst WiMax pricing

Should you get WiMAX (either hellskommels or iburps) - will an Axxess prepaid voucher work on it?

Assuming ADSL pre-paid, then only with Telkodemonopolies' WiMax, and not with iBurst SA / WBS WiMax.

Well now dear ic. Now you know why I am trying to flog my spare modem and later, when my ADSL is installed, my currently in use iBurps modem. No takers I tell you... no-one is interested apart from a few people who want to either burn it or reverse-engineer it.

How much will u give me 2 take it off ur hands?

The couple of clients I have running on iBurst also only utilizes them as there is nothing else available.

The thing that irritates me is pricing could be better and they could still make enough money to live comfortably but that's not enough, all these companies are only interested in making huge profits.

I member when iBurst was still just a whisper in the night, when all the local guys like MyDraadloos and Rodent and ...... got together to do signal and speed tests for iBurst. Back when everyone was sooooo excited that Telkom would have some competition. Now Telkom is again the cheapest option. Sigh

To be honest, I would have gone over to iburst, but what holds me back is

1 - Their accounts department
2 - No easy way to buy airtime except through their website (if they do the same thing as Axxess with their prepaid vouchers...)
3 - Draconian throttling

I thought Vodacom were smoking something when they released there prices but I see more than one idiot has been smoking from that pipe.
