ICASA makes ADSL pricing decision

They should stop with the cross-subsidisation bullsh*t. Why should *I* pay for the losses on Closer???

I think that until the ECA is promolgated, the ADSL rules would have to fall under the old Telecoms act, which would make them void once the ECA does come in, so they have to wait :(
nope that ain't it

seems to me like the delay in the promulgation of the ECA is the root cause for almost every social evil imaginable - utter BS

ICASA is once again emphasizing the fact that they are redundant. They have no use. They are just costing the country money.

hahaha

WTF is he doing out of the country in the first place  What possible business could ICASA have abroad? He no doubt needed to find a new place to sleep during business hours where he wouldn't be caught, and an Airbus business class seat would probably be the perfect location.

After a bad morning at the office this post really cracked me up :D

ADSL Pricing details due Monday...

....26 March 2007....

Stone in the bush

Just a thought, but if the adsl line rental is scrapped completely, and my dsl link light flashes who will I call then? Will this be covered by the normal line rental I pay every month?

What about removing the normal line rental for those that do not require it, because I do not even have a telephone connected to my adsl line, and just charge a minimal adsl rental per month? That way someone still accepts responsibility (yeah yeah, I know) for maintaining the line.

Just a thought, but I'm not holding my breath in any case. Been disappointed too many times before.

Nah - I'm a realist - I'm waiting to see what excuse they come up with this time. :D

Definately not gonna hold my breath waiting for anything to happen. Only thing that will happen will be that I turn blue in the face.

Last I saw in the M&G Paris was busy phoning up the NIA to discover the source of leaks in the ICASA.

Haha.

We give him a hard time here, but Paris has an important job he's busy with - discovering the source of the ICASA leaks.

No time for ADSL regulation, he's got work to do!
