Why do SA fans need someone to blame? Cricket is a team sport. Our team got beaten by another team. No one person is to blame. You could no doubt nitpick everyone's contribution and find a couple of runs if you wanted.

India was allowed to play their game, the effort showed by the proteas tonight was below par.
There was no effort to slow down the run rate.

I think Hendricks showed the most effort, he tried different things and it worked.

Enough has been said about Duminy, but Slab I'm with you on this. For the amount of balls he faced he could've done better.
Also Faf's decision on him opening the bowling plus giving him an extra over was just stupid.
Secondly, why didn't AB come in earlier? In fact why didn't he open with Amla? Knock in some fast runs..

What made us lose this one imho was bad bowling decisions by the Cap and very poor bowling by everyone. Too many short balls, too many wide balls, too many "who-gives-a-fsck-about-economical-bowling-balls". How many yorkers did you guys see? mmh?

I've seen much talk on social media about SA being too predictable. Faf opens with Duminy. Anything but predictable. It doesn't come off and suddenly there is criticism of that :D I think Shane Warne knows a little more about cricket than most of us do and he felt it was a smart thing to try. Yes, in hindsight it didn't work but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

As for De Villiers opening, why the hell would they suddenly try that experiment in a knock out game. And if they did and AB failed would we have seen the same criticism as in the case of Duminy opening the bowling.

I didn't see anyone putting in a below par effort. Bowling wides could probably be argued as trying to put in too much effort.

Because our players have what it takes, but brainfarts dictate our progress as usual!

They've been mentioned over and over in this thread, by Faf in particular, and you really want me to repeat them?

Yes please, that is why I asked.

Geez, not only do you guys need a scape goat in the team for a loss but you seem eager to attack anyone who doesn't share your sentiment on the Proteas being a bunch of pathetic losers too :D

Discussed already. Hindsight is wonderful. Shane Warne knows a fair bit about T20 and actually called it before Duminy was even given the ball.
Still a brain fart dicision...and giving him 'n extra over, second brain fart

Really? Even when the Indian bowling had clearly shown that their spinners were getting plenty turn on the pitch? Hindsight again...

Not letting AB come in at 3rd at least, third major brain fart...especialy after we seen him hit 68 runs from how many balls again mr. smarty pants? 28...28 fscking balls. But NO NO lets put Kepler Duminy in the mix with a stunning 50 over game innings of 45 (40)
