Got this email the other day

According to Home Affairs stats some of the children born from 1993 when mobile services were introduced in the province (and the rest of SA) have the following names:
1. Network Madondo
2. Subscriber Zulu
3. Nokia Khumalo
4. Siemens Mdlalose
5. Motorola Buthelezi
6. Dial Magubane
7. Vodacom Mkhize
8. Call Later Ndlovu
9. Voicemail Ngobese
10 Simcard Makhathini
 
I don't know if this is true or not but vaguely recall a story about how Native American Indians would name their newly borns: The first thing they see after stepping out the teepee after the birth is what they name the child, so Running Water and Dances with wolves etc etc :D

Maybe our locals are like that too, Eish.....SURPRISE! :D

My dad's a doctor. So one day he gets this patient. On the file it says he's the last born child in the family. He name is Fullstop.

LOL I learnt about African naming this year :) (well some section in the module)...being called gasoline or suprise is pretty common in African cultures....

My surname is Peddie :(... I swear it scottish! Don't ask me how :D
