Imagine Uncapped Feedback

Its past 12 and browsing doesnt even work properly, most pages time out. Have to click refresh 5 or 6 times. What going on?

Morning guys... sorry, lots of meetings this morning!
Yes - we have consulted with MWeb and we are trying to get to a BETA test stage now. I think that their techies didn't check out how the market does it before embarking on their own project. However, it's all very positive. The only negative is the 1st June deadline. We have a catch planned with them this afternoon to see how their technical side is progressing.

Also, it seems that the 3rd company to rovide a cheap ADSL uncapped will be entering the market during June... which is great news. Will let you know more on them as it happens.

Yeah I'm getting page timeouts all over the place I have to refresh like 10 times SUCKS!!!
 
Tonight is so-so for me. Started off at 30KBps at least, which is an increase from the usual 10KBps.
Holding thumbs for more speed (at 15KBps now), because I'm almost done with 24 :p
 
Okay so this morning I'm getting said timeouts again. I can download relatively fine at 10-14KBps, but the webpages are very stubborn this morning :(
 
I see IS's attempts at improving my 384kb broadband experience by throttling it to160kb has reached new heights :

I don't wanna speak too soon, but today I am seeing 100kB/sec throughput. This is 4x what I am used to on this account.

ppedrick, is this possibly a sign of things to come? Has IS provisioned that bandwidth they promised? Has it been 5 weeks yet?

Either way, happier today with Uncapped Basic than I've ever been.
 
Ah ffs! Guys, I am very sorry.

I was mistaken, we're on SAIX right now... A colleague had switched to a capped account so that he could have a Skype call with a client. I wasn't aware. :(

Yes, Uncapped Basic is SO bad, you cannot even have a Skype call. :(

Sorry guys, my gf's dad has been in hospital and so missed hte weekend.
I have been catching up with both sides and there will be no MWeb launch for 1st June. :( :( :( :(
It will be in June, but noone wants to commit to gettng things done within any deadlines.
I'm sorry but again, we're hoping to have MWeb and another company on as well and so we should have a decent choice by July.
