My brother had to do a 8 hour time machine restore because his Safari crashed LOL. Infected the whole system to such a point that nothing worked anymore, damn if that happens with windows you just load Chrome or Firefox and carry on LOL.

But I guess the issue is that Apple really used to have no or very few issues, their devices worked like appliances and the saying 'It just works' was born. Now that they resemble most other software providers in the number of bugs and updates, it's noticeable when Safari crash every now and then. Just like firefox and IE does on my desktop.

Very much agreed... but they're still very much closer to the "It Just Works" than Android...

Stuff crashes on my iPhone sure, but nowhere NEAR as often as stuff does on my Android phone or tablet.

You're device costs close to R10000 and is expected to work. I can get a decent Android device for under R2000 and have fun making it work.

Actually, my device costs me nothing, its a company sponsored phone. I have 2 decent Android devices, and I still find myself using the iPhone more often than the Android devices.

Also, the iPhone5 is about R7500 - R8000... so not close to R10000.

Nah just stating the fact that a R4000 PC can still recover from a faulty browser, and this coming from a Windows Troll user that continuously have to fix Thunderbird issues on a I7 mac and have to hear every second day that the internet is either slow or not working, while the other 5 windows 7 pc's each does a 50ms local ping and 400+KB/s on speedtest.net And yes I can troll because I myself have a Macbook pro and had a Iphone. However I must also say this, I LOVE apple hardware, but was also quite surprised to see that my brother new Iphone 5 had a Duel Core CPU.

When I see some of these Android posts I want to facepalm. Well at least some of them don't represent the majority of us. Apple > Android in terms of quality* not quantity in hardware, reponsiveness, and software quality. Android > Apple in terms of features, complexity, FREEEEEEDDDOOOOMMMM, better for most programmers XD!!!!! *Disclaimer, this is my opinion based on experience which I am projecting and will not necessarily represent your experiences, beliefs.

But why do you use it more? I themed the crap out of a Galaxy S4, even the settings menu looked like the Iphone's and gave it to my brother and one of my best friends and asked them "besides the look of the OS which is also now on the Galaxy S4, why is your Iphone 5 better in your opinion" and all i got was because it's Apple and the Samsung is not. I meen on my end I can say I love the design of the S4, it's got a quad core CPU, you can install anything on it out of the box without any issues etc....
