iMessage bug warning: SMS and MMS bill shock

I take it that even with this bug you can still check if the background of your sent message is blue then iMessage is working? Green = paying for SMS/MMS.

Apple is losing the plot in terms of quality control.

Yep. But there is no difference in colour between SMS and MMS. So if you have an SMS bundle, don't assume it's being used; check!

I don't use iProblems, but all these issues I read about makes me wonder - what is left that actually works on these devices?

They must get an S4 or Note 3.. Don't waste time on an iPhone, laugh it off and start using a proper device..
Already they lost quality of their product when they released there own maps :(

Numerous bugs on the latest iOS7

Oh how I love all the iPhone haters who jump on threads like this...

Android has bugs that end up costing people crap loads of money as well.... Case in point was for awhile the S4 was dished out with automatic updates enabled (even on 3G).. knew of at least 4 people who clocked up over R1000 in data charges that they knew nothing about.

This is also happened to my Iphone- Was sending some Whatsapps and Imessages and the phone got soft locked -limit reached because of the usage of all the allocated 100 free SMS'e.

Is there a Vodacom rep here that can help me resolve this? I would think this is exactly what happened with my Iphone.

Thanks

Pintrest and Maps keeps crashing on my "the new ipad" (the ipad 3)

You have to be colour blind not to see the difference between sms and iMessage. Besides, it is very easy to fix by just doing the few steps as mentioned. Nothing serious. So Android people have nothing to get excited about.

Indeed :)

But I guess the issue is that Apple really used to have no or very few issues, their devices worked like appliances and the saying 'It just works' was born. Now that they resemble most other software providers in the number of bugs and updates, it's noticeable when Safari crash every now and then. Just like firefox and IE does on my desktop.

Did the messages send as green or blue? I realized something was strange with messages not defaulting to iMessage, but realized that I was using SMSes (and thus MMSes).

You're device costs close to R10000 and is expected to work. I can get a decent Android device for under R2000 and have fun making it work. :P
