Accurate. I cant help myself

I almost bought ratchet straps the other day, because you know maybe I need to tie a paddle board or a canoe to my roof rack (I dont own a paddle board, or a canoe)

Do I need to have an unabridged marriage certificate? I don’t feel like standing in DHA queues all day.

You pay a company to do this for you.

I’ll remember them next time I need a document.

You should get all your unabridged marriage/birth certificates regardless. Next time you need it it may be for something important like PR/citizenship/a visa to stay in the country and then the last thing you want is to try deal with DHA from another country.

There is also these guys:

It's not a lot of effort to get the process started and can save a lot of admin/tears in the future (you have no idea how many "panic" posts there are on the FB groups of people who thought they didn't need it)

Who did you guys use for assisting with pets?

That was to NL though. But they guide you and (believe it or not) the vet through the paperwork - what to do when, what to sign where etc.

We used global paws

/edit - very happy with them. They looked after our cat and dog very well.

Think I did earlier in the thread but recap: a broken tail on one girl, an extra £800 for 'local transport ', no food or water bowls (almost killed themselves eating and drinking), couldn't walk properly for an hour or so and worst of all, 2 crates with 2 dogs caked with their own dried shyte head to toe.

To hell with that company and their costs for awful treatment of my babies
