Renewing my SA passport - it expires in 2025. But I don't fancy going through the hassle @Sinbad went through, doing it abroad. So, doing it now.

Do I tell DHA I lost it? They give several options - one being "Expires in more than 6 months" - which is correct. But I am not sure if they take issue with that sort of thing?

I did this before leaving. Complete non-issue. Applied for my visas on the new passport.

That's the plan. Since it's 5 years in total until I can get ILR - I want to keep it all on one passport.

If you are planning on future EU travel, it might be worth it to get the maxi passport.

Has anyone changed their address with UKVI? I have a bank statement from Lloyds and internet bill with my name and address on, I'm wondering if that will be enough? Still waiting for a council tax and my energy bills.

Bank statement should do it.
