What is a unrestricted apn ?
Hi CaptainPugwash

Thank you for contacting Cell C.

The Access Point Name (APN) is the name for the settings your phone reads to set up a connection to the gateway between your carrier's cellular network and the public Internet.

Thanks for the reply. I know what a APN is but whats so special about the "unrestricted" part?

I understand on Telkom LTE you can only use services like DynDNS if on the unrestricted apn. On internet, a whole lot of stuff is blocked by default by Telkom.
CellC probably the same?
