MyBroadband is planning to do more experiments like battery tests, disappearing airtime, and ecommerce comparisons. We have a few new ones lined up, like Post Office delivery tests and disappearing airtime.

Question: Which experiments would you like us to do?

Resource and time constraints may prevent us from tackling some experiments, but if possible we will try to do them and report on the results.
 
Grab some of the government shills here and electrocute them.

What about doing a comparison between a few of the more popular free apps such as Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps etc. to see how the navigation differs between themselves? I would suggest mainly city driving to see how things like traffic congestion and things like road works or potholes are handled.
 
Test out whether the coronavirus app actually works by doing some testing on a phone with the "infected" tracking number.

I would be willing to be it is highly inconsistent with range as that will vary with manufacturer.

Yep, the navigation one would be great.

Perhaps you could do a Windows 10/ Windows 11 comparison with benchmarks for games, productivity apps and perhaps even mining.
 
Telkom please. I almost always have data left by the time the 1st of the month comes around, telkom then immediately starts using my new data that is valid for two months instead of my old data that expires in a few days. Every single month without fail. I've made them aware of it, send them print screens they just deny that there is a problem.

I've got a second sim so I transfer most of my free me data to that sim and use it from there when needed.

I want to buy a GPS watch specifically for hiking in the mountains away from cellphone reception
It must rumble or vibrate or whatever and alert me if I am going off the path
It must also be easy to program offline on PC and then just upload the route file :thumbsup:

Also a long running experiment:
Make a small survey that allows fibre users to log when their internet goes down. All users should need to do is enter their ISP and fibre provider and area.

On this topic, how about testing various indoor cycling apps such as Zwift, Rouvy, TrainerRoad or Sufferfest. Maybe provide a bit more of a techy perspective and less of a EPO junkie perspective?
