Your 2 results are totally different servers one in Cape Town and one in Durban on different providers as well Cell C and Telkom. When testing always force it to the same server.

It's congestion..enjoy almost all LTE users have it if you are throttled your speeds will consistently stay low no matter what you do.

No they are not.. got over 50mbps over the weekend. Now just about 20mbps , but I think I'm on the new band as I can get LTE on a non-TDD tablet. The upload is much more than it was when I connected to 2300mhz signal.

Sorry to hijack the thread a bit but how would one get issued one of these integrated sims? Can you apply for it?
I did test on the same server, I then let it select which ever server it preffered, both cases same results really, the manual selection giving a little less speed

You need a Telkom DSL and ISP account to qualify. Apply via call centre or best is to go to a Telkom Shop and collect it immediately.

My LTE is dead tonight. Had to switch to 3g to any throughput.

Haven't used mine for the last week. Luckily towers are fix very quickly and you'll be connected again.

No it's not the towers. I can connect, but like after 2 minutes it says sim invalid. Then I have reboot and it connects again with internet access. 2 mins later it drops again. Anyhow 3g was stable with about 8mbps down.
If you have time, can you check your LTE ?
Edit. BTW this happened both at work and home which are 10km apart.

Telkom is doing some crazy stuff. I'm sure it has to do with their new spectrum as I can now get LTE on non TDD devices.
