Nah not that modem. That I don't think is an adsl modem.
I'll try and get the model number or a pic.

You CAN actually set your own SNR target on a modified modem or by using telnet. This is after 7 hours stable: http://postimg.org/image/i4yzb8jd9/

The modem is a netgear DGND3700v1 with transmission firmware: http://www.richud.com/wiki/DGND3700_V1_Transmission_Firmware
My line went back onto interleaved and 2mb below its usual sync speed last night, this after Charl helped me switch it back to fast path for the 3rd time in months, just a few weeks ago. What's the point manually requesting fast path if they keep switching it back to ****terleaved all the time ? ffs... What good is DSL if latency is officially going to be permanently through the roof now? It's not like the speeds are any great to begin with. LTE is looking more and more attractive by the day. Telkom copper division are shooting themselves in the foot big time with this ASSIA ass crap. We're already planning to to move our office lines to Neotel fibre due to the problems it's causing us
Interleaved improves my line???.... :erm: Get 20mbps on interleaved and only 18 on fastpath....
Hi, I have a question. In December I upgraded from a 4meg line to a 10 meg line with telkom. Since then I am also on this interleaved crap.
I sync at 4 megs with my telkom account. However as soon as I switch to my VOX account I sync at about 8.5meg.
Can someone explain the huge difference in speeds between the 2 ISP's using the same line?
