iOS 16 Features by Model

iMessage seems to be a tad more unforgiving about bad internet lately, for the past week or so my wife has been battling to send and receive imessages, especially images, and yes, she does have spotty 3G\4G coverage at work, but Whatsapp seems to handle it a lot better. Pity because we prefer chatting on iMessage but will probably switch to Whatsapp due to messages not going through, pictures not displaying at all, etc, etc.

Not had this problem. Sure its the spotty 3G/4G? I would imagine the amount data either app needs to work is pretty similar.

I'm on iOS 17 (current Beta) and it seems fine even when i was somewhere with only Edge recently.

That issue just went away, not sure what caused it.

It happens sometimes. I had a strange case, now also gone - where months beginning this year I could not use Siri when I was near my home on the 5G tower in the area. The moment I was in another suburb and tower Siri worked perfectly. In my suburb she would just constantly say "Oh no, something went wrong."
