iOS 4.3 GM is out

Time to get a iPhone 4 me thinks :)
I'm in no rush. I basically only use mine now for Skype and TomTom. My iPad and Blackberry are more useful to me.

If you can find local stock. I'm due for upgrade and no-one has stock of the one with the bigger geebees.

Well I am at logger heads with both VC and Mweb at the moment, so I don't think I will get one as an upgrade even though I am due for one :(

Might just try swop my DSLR for one seen as though I bought a new one.

I must say the the speed on the 3G is starting to get a little frustrating, especially if it has been jailbroken. I restored mine last night after getting so annoyed with the performance.

Yeah, I agree.

I sometimes use my iPhone 3G when I go out, but can't wait to get home to use my Desire HD again.

Well, actually I'm a bit relieved the 3G is not getting another update, otherwise it was another 320MB download + 90MB update for iTunes. Bloody tired of it. Rather give me a way to go back to iOS 3.1.3 - those were the days when the 3G was still superfast!

Also getting the better of me.

Thanks Apple. If all that's changed is the OS and a number of the new features like wallpaper etc. aren't available anyway then all that's left is code bloat.

I actually found JB made it better for me because I could reclaim RAM when the phone start to slow down (more than usual).

Well, I'm still amazed that a phone with only a 412 Mhz CPU & 128MB RAM kept going so strong for so long....and do appreciate it that Apple supported it for so long.

I will never sell my iPhone 3G (feel the same about it as I do about the Motorola V3 Razr -phones that really defined the mobile phone era) & it only does duty occasionally, because Android & my HTC Desire HD had arrived. ;)

Anybody loaded the GM yet - I assume a developer account is not needed judging from previous GMs I have loaded...

I'm not sure. The big news in 4.3 is the javascript performance is 2-3x faster.

GM = final unless there is some serious show stopper that emerges, which I've only seen happen once. So no developer account needed.

does anyone have a ling that'll work in a download manager?

Tempting but I think I'll wait until Friday so I can download using local bandwidth.
