iOS or Android?

What exactly do you mean by "it just works". What would you say "just works" on iOS and doesnt on android. I have found the opposite to be true. Try taking a picture and uploading it straight into any app other than the ones sanctioned by Apple. I submit that it will take you more steps to get to the same result.
Lets not forget this. http://www.gsmarena.com/upcoming_ios_7_update_to_fix_random_reboots-news-7637.php Yes iOS7 is laggy and prone to crashing.

So their is no lag in Android and no problematic Firmware releases coupled with Android?

What sanctioned Apple apps are you talking about in regard with image uploading?

Image uploading is just a matter of enabling background uploads in Settings. But the customisation point is quite valid; if customisation is something you prioritize then Android is way ahead. I'd hazard to guess that it's by far a minority concern though; the level of work to get your phone looking like those screenshots rather than the bland default Android or worse Touchwiz homescreen is quite a lot. I always end up petering out of enthusiasm after a couple of feverish weeks.

I've heard, and I know this is probably one of those over top rumours which only purpose is to discredit a product in the most ridiculous way, that one uses Itunes with Apple products. This must be a lie, I don't even know why I posted this. I was probably subconsciously trolling, sorry.

There is lag on both systems. I am contesting the notion that iOS "just works". As if Android and Windows 8 don't "just work" (what ever this means) as well as iOS.

On my Android phone I am share any thing with what ever app is installed. That is not the case on iOS.

Not just customization. There are several others that I mentioned.

I know. It's all your preference and you're entitled to it. I just addressed what I'm interested in. Android in its stock appearance is much more plain and boring than iOS. It takes a lot of work to get it to look how you want. The homescreen of my Nexus7v2 is still just stock and it's dull as soap. Even with intense customising you can't get close to the quality of the transparencies and effects going on in iOS - the zooms in and out when opening folders, the frosted glass texture, the bouncing on messages - small touches but all the MIUI iOS7-like skins do is emphasize what a poor imitation they are next to the real thing.
