Got the iPad 4 this morning, and setting it up via USB link to my computer. It did not ask for a device name to be allocated, unlike my iPad 3 and two iPhones. iPad 3 must now go to wife and be sync with her iPhone.
BTW, seems like the iStore in canal walk does not have many phones in stock for tomorrow. All might be sold out at 0905. Good luck!
