Hi, There is no MTN LTE option on my ipad mini (running 6.3.1 version). Am I missing any settings?

upgraded to ios 7 and lte toggle option is now available. When is MTN going to launch LTE? it still shows 3g.
What do you mean launch LTE? LTE has been available on iPhone and other devices since early this year.
You need to obtain a MTN LTE SIM card - so you'll need to do a SIM swap. Note that MTN only provide these to contract subscribers so I hope you have a contract SIM. You can of course take your chances cutting a Micro SIM but I've had bad results doing this so no longer advocate it.
Once the above is done you need to phone MTN on 808 to provision your number for LTE. You will have the service within an hour.

Yes I am on contract. I recently did a sim swap (from normal sim to Nano for my ipad) and they charged me 135 bucks. Now, another sim swap to get LTE!!!! why they are becoming so greedy.
Vodacom never asked for any sim swap. LTE started working as soon as I put old sim into my new LTE enabled phone.
