iPhone 12 Rumours & Release Date

I'm seriously considering the iPhone 12. I currently have an iPhone X. The wife has an iPhone 8. So for us both, it will be a decent upgrade.

Not sure when SA is getting the phone though?

Speculations are late November - early December.

In 2020 Apple took a stand against unnecessary carbon emissions (and spending money on accessory production) and took away the charger and earbuds from the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro retail package, as well as from that of the iPhone 11, SE (2020) and XR. But France requires manufacturers to ship headphones with phones by law, so Apple had to accommodate the EarPods with its iPhones.

But because Apple's new smaller iPhone retail box is standard across the globe, it packed it inside a bigger box that contains the EarPods. Note that Apple still doesn't include a charger, just the earbuds.

Is it just me or did the whole world already get the iPhone 12/Pro except SA?
I mean how long can it take for the networks to get them? Or perhaps they will release the all the models as soon as the Max is out on the 13th Nov.

Probably October 30 or shortly after.
 
They say it is not great. Tests so far with the 12 Pro the battery life over 4G is more than an hour extra compared to the 11 Pro last year?

The battery size is even smaller this year at 2800mah compared to 3050mah last year so surely that is a massive score on efficiency?

Especially seen when one compares a Google Pixel 5 with 60Hz only getting 9:56 from a 4080mah battery on 5G compared to iPhone 12 Pro on 5G at 9:06 with only 2800mah.

I like to see it more as Apple returning us to a bygone era, but in a more modern, perfect way. Its future meets nostalgia.

Its been like this for years and years already. Sept they have the announcement, and SA generally gets stock around 2 months later or thereabouts. Generally Apple certified resellers would get first, followed by the networks and so on.
