I don't believe so. I was also added to the wait list.

Apparently the phones might only arrive towards the end of November due to the split launch of the 12/12 Pro and 12 Mini/12 Pro Max.

Really hope this isn't true though.
 
Hi all
I personally think that they will release on Nov 6, mainly because in South Africa, the Apple Watch Series 6, as well as the Watch SE, launched exactly 2 weeks after the US release, so I'm hoping that's the case with the iPhone 12 & 12 Pro as well, but this is just a theory, I'm probably wrong.

Yep, its always almost released here 2 weeks after US release date.

Got email late last week They still trying to offload old iPhone 11 surplus caused by COVID to make room for the 12.
 
Looks like I won the Apple "**** your phone up after iOS software upgrade" lottery. Green bar now on my pristine iPhone X after 14.1 update. I'm pissed!
