iPhone 12 Rumours & Release Date

They supposedly received stock ages ago for a launch one week later than the US, but it was so little it wasn't feasible for launch. Maybe they've just been accumulating stock over the last few weeks?

TBH, I heard something similar. Buddy who works at Vodacom said the stock was due to come in, in October already and then it just went silent

indeed lets just hope this is credible. The 12 Pro is not on the list for 27 Nov? Kinda strange that they would launch the Pro Max first unless that is the only stock they have? The wiki did say somewhere is Feburary 2021 last time for SA so will wait and see before getting excited.

Agreed, from the entire range only the Pro Max has a date, which is strange. Not putting too much faith into it, but still have a little hope :)

I see Powerbite have the 12 and 12 mini in stock. Obviously grey imports.

R18999 for the 64gb mini. I wonder what the normal price will be.

So what device are you all looking for? I am torn between the Pro and the Pro Max. Currently have the 11 Pro, so the size is both what I am looking for on the Pro Max, but is also a bit daunting. I don't want buyers remorse, either way.

Is the camera differences between the Pro and Pro Max enough of a difference? That would be the deciding factor for me. I have a new baby girl, so I want to be able to take the best pics possible of her and thats what is pushing me to go for the Pro Max

Yeah I currently have a max, but the 12 pro max looks massive.

I'm looking forward to the 12 mini. been using the 5s since 2013. The size and style is similar, which I like. So depending on the price, hopefully and finally I will upgrade.

How is the max for you? Do you regret getting it? I know the 12 Pro max is slightly bigger, so its not a 100% comparison, but as close as you can get. With COVID doing its thing and working from home, my concern with pocket bulge \ weight isn't too high. I care more about the hand feels and actually using the device.

Consuming content and messaging, as I use my phone a lot for work mails and chats. Is it possible to single handedly drive the device? Or is it a 2 hander at all times?

Personally, I was an android guy, but I got sucked into the world of apple, had an iPhone 5s in 2013, but when i was robbed it was stolen, then got a Samsung, and I've been with Samsung ever since, but looking to return to iPhone with a 12 Pro :)

I prefer the max. That said, depending on price I would easily get the vanilla 12 as the oled screen has made it just as good IMO.

Agreed, price is the biggest deciding factor.

12 Pro is in a weird spot this year, between the 12 and Pro Max.
