iPhone 14 and possibly iOS 16 battling overheating issues

Freudian slip? :)
See?

I like it .

It's my day-to-day driver ...

I'll even say I love it. My battery experience is great after iOS16 and it's got some things I really love. There are just some other things that Android does which is better *shrug*

True - on the chip you're right ...

But I didn't know about the 3rd party sharing or limited apps until I got it ? And yet because I brought those up, I'm the bad guy and was 'looking for issues'
I don't own an iPhone or other flagship but your sharing thing does look like a preference thing and a quirk of iOS. It is only recently that iOS has allowed more "open" sharing. So, it may be an issue to you but for people who live in iOS that's just something they accept as the way of the platform.

Well, change it once you tell me your thought on the iPhone sharing ?

You're objective and non-bias at all - so what are your thought about an Android phone having a better sharing feature ? You're able to get your iPhone fans to assist @semaphore
I have no interest in sharing photos, so it’s a none starter. But again you seem to be unable to distinguish between hardware and an operating system. We tried to point that out, but you were just too pig headed to see it.

Exactly, he’s blaming something he’s used to from Android to an entirely different ecosystem. The guys a total clown.

Nonsense on the BS part. I’m a hella more neutral that many of the okes here. I try to see the value in both sides.
When it comes to (anything) phones the number of people that are actually anything *close* to impartial is incredibly low.
Yeah, you spam both Android and Apple threads with YouTube and Twitter links indiscriminately. I’ll give you that.

iPhone cannot send a photo through to 3rd party apps like Instagram or Snapseed

What do you say about that ?
I don't use them dude. I do know it sends to Facebook, Gmail, Outlook (using Microsoft 365) and Twitter having done that myself.
I don't use them. Like I've said before. Nobody else here has mentioned that either, so ask away and see what answer you get.
Maybe you find some support and you can breathe easier and not highlight in Bold /s

Eggy should be known as the artist formerly known as Eggy.

And in keeping to topic, why do you call BS on overheating iPhones? Google is full of reports and we have quite a few that have had it personally.

Just curious as to why you choose not to believe anything?

Genuine question

But you use Android and that's your bias. I used Android too, but moved onto iPhone.
Well, if you're spinning it like that, I had numerous Nokias, a BlackBerry Bold, then a Sony Xperia Z1 (and Samsung Galaxy tablet!), and now iPhones. I am the most unbiased person you will meet as I've used them all.

Well, except for HTC. I'd have loved to have had a Windows Mobile device.
You haven't had enough of Android to be unbiased to be fair. Out of all the OEMs, you had Sony, and the implementation of Android on tablets are still rubbish as of today.

I try and stay away from these IOS vs Android debates, because you just cannot compare iOS to the various iterations of Android that's out there, which includes manufacturers dropping their own skins on top of Android, poor software updates etc

I've dealt with enough people, to know that there were tons of issues on their iPhones since the iphone 4.

Someone's busy on this particular thread.
Can they head on over to the IVM thread as well and clean up some of the trash being put out by fake docs and antivaxxers?

Exactly. He's still trying to change gears with the right hand.

If I want to share a pic on Insta, I open Insta. If I want to send it via WhatsApp, I open WhatsApp. It's only an issue for him and him alone, because he is used to starting from the gallery and going from there. Am I right @Dolby ?

Yup.

I live in 2022 though - central database of photos are shared all along.

Maybe Apple should be consistent though, and get rid of sharing totally ?
Why bother to even add Mail, Whatsapp, recent contacts etc ?
Why bother with a share button at all?
Some apps work, others don't - others are limited ?

I'm not sure I'm the only one - I've posted comments and requests from other iOS users from about 5 years ago requesting the same thing. I think I'm the only on MyBB though because, well, MyBB folk would rather stick a rusty needle in their eye than admit things could be a bit easier.

Could you stop hijacking every iOS thread with your weird agenda?

What do the majority of your posts in this thread have to do with the topic?
