I’m not sure of the reviews as I’ve been pretty hard at it with work, so I don’t know what’s being said. But it certainly feels pretty nice to me and I prefer the touch over the Apple leather cases of which I owned a couple over the years. Such an interesting texture. And the Haptic Touch type feedback on the action button is very satisfying watching the mute pop on and off on the dynamic island. I’m very happy with it overall.
 
Just reading about these cases now and I suppose I understand the concerns. But I don’t reckon it’s any different than the leather cases which scratched terribly and my light brown one ended up showing black underneath where it rubbed of on the corners.

I dunno, I expect my cases to take a bit of a bashing and look worn after a short time. But it remains to be seen how it pans out and at the moment it is a lovely looking case, and tbf I don’t plan on rubbing my fingernails over it deeply as the guy from The Verge did 5 times. That would be silly as it will leave permanent marks, just like the leather ones would have done.

Yeah, same with durability tests for the phones. Don’t intend on ever taking mine out the case, nor testing its thermal limits with a blowtorch or driving over it.

I’m guessing this was for an outright purchase/preorder? On my contract upgrade “order” it’s still on awaiting stock for the 15PM.
