Coming back to my thoughts on the 15 Pro’s camera system. I’ve used the camera more and more, and other than the close-up/macro issue, and having to tweak Portrait Mode’s f-stop more often, it really is an incredible piece of equipment. ProRAW is a game changer. To work around the close-up issue, I’ve re-enabled the 35mm/1.5x lens which for the most part allows close-ups like the 12 Pro.

I discovered this the other day when editing a photo. There is so much going on in the iPhone camera these days, I doubt I will ever use it to its full potential.

I just need to get to grips with editing, I am doing it all on the iPad Pro, think this may be an excuse to get that Pencil.

What should the battery life be like on the 15 Pro Max? I recently purchased one, and I'm watching the battery percentage like a hawk.

I was thinking of that but I seem to remember someone being banned or told off for that here some time ago
I don’t think the mods like that sort of “self-promotion” unfortunately.

Mine is currently average 6-7h, but I did the iCloud and whatsapp Chat restore in the last few days. I read it may take some time to re-index everything and calibrate the battery, so not sure if there may be an issue.

It's been about 4 days so should be done by now. I'll just monitor for a bit and see if it gets better.

Thanks I'll just keep monitoring. I doubt I got a dud version, so the lower SOT may just be Photos, whatsapp chats etc. still syncing.
